EDUSAT
EDUSAT, is the first Indian communications satellite built exclusively to serve the educational sector was launched on 20 September 2004 by the Indian Space Research Organisation. It was mainly intended to meet the demand for an interactive satellite based distance education system for the country. EDUSAT hub for Uttarakhand was established in Doon University Campus, Dehradun under the control of RUSA, Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Ukkatakhand. SITES are developed in different colleges; our college is one of them. The recorded lectures were delivered from hub. The student gets benefits from these lectures.
